Welcome to Roxburghe Eventing

Bella has enjoyed being involved in the sport of Eventing for 15 seasons as a passionately keen, successful and dedicated amateur, but since graduating from University she has now made the exciting decision to make it her career. She spent two seasons basing herself at William Fox-Pitt's yard in Dorset before making the hugely thrilling move to be at her own private yard on the West Berkshire/Wiltshire border, just outside Hungerford. Bella is now looking for new sponsors and owners to join her ambitious journey, with her venture, Roxburghe Eventing.

About Bella Innes Ker

Bella is 29 years old and originally started her riding career as a keen member of the Duke of Buccleuch Hunt and Pony Club in the Scottish Borders. There was also success in the show ring, largely competing in Working Hunter Pony classes.

Bella has grown up with strong equestrian links with her father running Floors Stud, a commercial thoroughbred breeding operation, breeding the hugely successful racehorse, Attraction who won five Gr 1 races. And her mother was the Organiser of Floors Castle International Horse Trials, an event that ran in the Borders for 26 years.

Bella started competing from a young age. Throughout School and University she managed to juggle working and competing to a very high level, which included becoming Junior National Champion in 2012, representing her Country on three occasions at Junior and Young Rider European Championships and was a member of two Gold medal winning teams.

After completing University and graduating with a first class honours degree in Sports Management, Bella spent 2018 eventing full time, and had an unforgettable season with the undoubted highlight leading from start to finish at Blenheim International Horse Trials in the CCI4*-L class, becoming the youngest winner in history.

Bella then based at the yard of William Fox-Pitt for two years, to help maximise her potential.

It was an ideal place to produce youngstock and train top level event horses with outstanding facilities and the invaluable support network from William and the rest of his team.

Bella is now based at her own private yard on the West Berkshire/Wiltshire border, just outside Hungerford. See facilities page for more detail.

Bella is now looking for sponsors and owners to join her journey. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Lovely having him back out and enjoying life since his last run at Bramham. Highway did a personal best in the Intermediate dressage, the most insane clear show jumping which […]

A good start for Monbeg Voodoo

So delighted with Monbeg Voodoo at her first two BE100’s. A really confident start to her eventing career and showing what a huge future she has ahead of her! Last week she did a classy double clear and today she led the dressage on a very smart score, followed by a beautiful clear show jumping […]

Highway II

That unimpressed look when you find out your jockey has withdrawn you from the jumping phases at Barbury as the ground was too firm but you get made to go galloping at home instead! Really pleased with his first attempt at the 3* test yesterday to score a respectable 33. Lots more to come with […]
