Freddie is a relatively new addition to Roxburghe Eventing. He was bought from the brilliant Vere Phillips as a 4 year old, who purchased him from a show-jumping yard in Ireland. He is a beautiful model and has wonderful elastic paces as well as an enormously powerful jump. He has fantastic pedigree with his mother being full Thoroughbred and his Sire OBOS Quality 004 being renowned breeder of top class show jumpers.
He has had a very impressive first two seasons eventing; only adding 3 poles to his textbook record. As a 5 year old he finished 4th in the Nexgen 5 year old championships. In 2023 he concluded his brilliant season with 16th / 110 starters in his first 2*L at Osberton Horse Trials. Bella is very excited to see how this horse continues to grow and develop into 2024.
